INSPECTORS

 Candace "Rosie" Whitsitt

Candace is President and Professional Inspector for Show-N-Tell Inspections, P.C.  Along with inspecting, Candace is also the technical editor for courses, exams and publications by Show-N-Tell Inspections, P.C.  She is also known for her soft, non-alarming delivery style and strong relationships with real estate professionals and clients.  Since 1996, Candace has been involved in instructing candidates in both one-on-one and large group settings.  Her experience comes from being an entrepreneur and a non-profit and corporate employee.  She has managed, scheduled and trained volunteers to assist with fund-raising events and also trained and created technical manuals for clients, vendors and staff.  In 2001, Candace became involved in the Dallas Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications.  She served as the organization’s President in 2004 after serving as President-Elect, Database Directors, Website Manager and Job Bank Chair in previous years.  Also in 2004, Candace became a Professional Inspector through the Texas Real Estate Commission and started her own inspection firm, Rosie the Riveter Inspections.  This war-time icon was the perfect model for Candace’s old home construction passion and she is considered an “old home” specialist, hence the nickname, Rosie.  She has been involved in the real estate community since then.  She is currently a member of the MetroTex Association of Realtors and served on the Affiliate Forum Committee from 2004-2006.  She has also been a member of the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors (TAREI) and its North Texas Chapter (NTTAREI) since 2004.  From 2005 through 2006, Candace served on the Board of Directors for the NTTAREI as Treasurer and Public Relations Director and also informally as the database manager and brochure editor.  Candace is also a member and involved in other professional and networking organizations, such as Building Officials Association of Texas (BOAT) and the International Code Council (ICC).  She looks forward to serving real estate professionals and inspectors with Show-N-Tell Inspections, P.C.
